Senior B Ensemble
Under the direction of Elizabeth Zielke, the Senior B Ensemble aims to challenge students to grow in all musical aspects and enhance their overall quality of performance.
As the feeder group for the Langley Ukulele (Senior A) Ensemble, the Senior B Ensemble prepares its students by striving for excellence in performance, focusing on musical understanding and performance etiquette. The ensemble continues to develop precision in instrumental work and singing in 3-4 part harmony.
The Senior B Ensemble consists of 26 ensemble members; ranging from ages 10 to 15 years old. The Senior B Ensemble performs throughout the Lower Mainland with their repertoire of folk and international music to pop and rock songs from the 1950's through to the 1980's. With these performances, the ensemble raises its funds to travel to parts of British Columbia, such as Kelowna and Victoria and share their gift of music with schools and community members.
Students in this ensemble are dedicated to the association’s mission, “to demonstrate excellence by enriching lives through entertaining, musical presentations, as well as local and worldwide interactions.” They do this with the full support of their families who volunteer their time and efforts to further the reach and success of the association.
